You connect your Shopify store when you're ready to publish — not from a settings page.
How it works:
- From the Home page, you'll see your store connection status
- When you click Publish on a product page, ProdUp will prompt you to connect your Shopify store if you haven't already
- You'll be redirected to Shopify to authorize ProdUp via OAuth
- Click Install to grant permissions and connect
What ProdUp needs access to:
- Products — to push products to your catalog
- Themes — to publish landing pages
- Content — to create pages
After connecting:
- Your store appears on the Home page
- You can publish product pages and homepages directly
- The connection persists until you uninstall ProdUp from Shopify
If your store disconnects, you'll be prompted to reconnect the next time you try to publish.
